Meet Heather - Licensed Michigan Midwife LM, CPM

Hi, I’m Heather, Midwife at Herb & Blossom Birth Services, LLC, serving women and families in the Battle Creek, Michigan area.

I have four wonderful children, and am happily married to the love of my life, Allan. Together we are raising our BIG blended family.

I am committed to offering full-spectrum, comprehensive care from preconception through postpartum. My work includes well woman care, newborn care, and on going support throughout pregnancy and birth. I also provide placenta encapsulation, lactation support, and umbilical cord keepsakes, allowing families to receive thoughtful, connected care in one place.

Certifications, Licenses and Qualifications

Licensed Midwife (Mi & Wi), Certified Professional Midwife, Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, Child Birth Educator, Neonatal Resuscitation Certified, BLS Certified, Breech Without Borders Breech & Twin training completed, and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist for over a decade.

My vision is to help cultivate a community where Families of all backgrounds experience birth as a normal, natural and empowering journey. Birth was intrinsically designed by our Creator and is deeply centered on the whole family. I strive to blend natural, holistic support with sound clinical care, fostering healthy outcomes while honoring the sacredness of welcoming new life.
